Since 2003, Novasia Ltd of
Hong Kong, and its affiliate, Nan Ying Consulting Co., Ltd in
Shanghai, have assisted some of the world’s leading companies in
developing and executing market entry strategies and brand
extension programs for consumer goods marketed in China.
Clients have included Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser), Pepsi,
Esselte, and a number of well-recognized sports and fashion
brands from the United States, including Everlast, Nicole
Miller, Perry Ellis, Maui & Sons, and Hart Schaffner Marx.
In 2005, Novasia assisted its
client, Hartmarx Corporation (now HMX LLC), the largest
manufacturer and marketer of better apparel in the United
States, in executing a landmark brand licensing partnership for
their Hart Schaffner Marx men’s wear brand with The Youngor
Group, the largest manufacturer and marketer of better men’s
wear in China. Today, as HMX LLC’s representative office in
China, Novasia oversees the operations for 100 premium retail
boutiques throughout China bearing the Hart Schaffner Marx name.
In 2007, Shanghai Caiwan
Trading Co., Ltd was created as a distributor and retailer of
internationally branded consumer products in China. Today,
Caiwan operates over 80 retail locations for the Adidas sports
brand, carrying sports-themed, lifestyle fashion and footwear in
China’s major markets via Adidas branded boutique stores.
In 2009, Novasia opened its
sourcing and procurement offices in Ningbo China, where the
company assists clients around the world in the design,
development and manufacturing of a wide range of products,
including apparel, home textile, assorted hard goods and pet
products.
