MANAGING PARTNERS
GEORGE E.
WILLIAMS is a
native of the United States, overseeing marketing and client
services from our headquarters in Shanghai. George has
represented major international brands in the negotiation and
management of strategic alliances for over 20 years.
Prior to Novasia,
George was Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo! Finance
overseeing Product Development, Engineering, Business
Development, Sales and Marketing. Before Yahoo!, George
was Senior Vice President of Business Development at
Playboy.com, Inc., where he was responsible for negotiating and
managing brand licensing partnerships and other strategic
alliances around the world.
NANYING D. WILLIAMS
is a native of China, working directly with our Chinese offices,
overseeing the evaluation of prospective partners, and ongoing
management of our brand partnerships in Asia, including the
Brand Licensing Partnership between HMX LLC (formerly Hartmarx
Corporation) and the Ningbo Youngor Group, the largest
manufacturer and retailer of men's fashions in China.
Prior to immigrating to the
United States, Nanying worked for the Chinese Government's
Department of commerce in the Zhejiang province of Eastern
China. In this position, she had regulatory oversight
responsibility for over 500 private enterprises, including
distributors, retailers and manufacturers of goods and services
nationwide.
In addition to her role as
Managing Partner with Novasia, Nanying currently sits on the
Board Operating Committee for Shanghai Caiwan Trading Co., Ltd,
a leading distributor and retailer of Adidas casual apparel and
footwear with 80 Adidas boutique stores operating throughout
China.
